1 Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar
It the most important monument in Zaragoza and the oldest temple of Marian worship in the Christendom. It is located between the Ebro river and the Plaza del Pilar. According to legend, the Virgin Mary appeared in mortal flesh with a column where the temple is currently located to give moral support to the apostle Santiago, who was proselytizing in Zaragoza without success. The Virgin asked Santiago that he and his followers build a church around the column that she had brought. This is the origin of the temple. Certainly one of the best places to see in Zaragoza.

2 Aljafería
It was built by the Sultan of Zaragoza Al-Muqtádir in the second half of the 11th century. Probably the most memorable monument built in Spain in that century. It has been the political and ceremonial center of Aragon since its construction. 3 Cathedral of the Savior of Zaragoza
It has been the main temple of the city from times even before Christianity until from the seventeenth century it had to share that honor with the Basilica del Pilar. It stands out for having an eclectic exterior that has samples of all the artistic styles that existed in Spain and Europe from the 12th to the 18th centuries (Romanesque, Gothic, Mudejar, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassicism).

4 Parque José Antonio Labordeta
Another nice place in Zaragoza. It was inaugurated by the dictator Primo de Rivera in 1929. Formerly called with the name of that dictator, currently with the name of the late Labordeta singer-songwriter and popularly known as Parque Grande. Through this park you can take wonderful walks in which you can visit amazing spaces such as the monument “al Batallador” and the Botanical Garden.

5 Zaragoza Fluvial Aquarium
It was inaugurated in 2008 on the occasion of the Expo held that same year in the city. It is the largest river aquarium in Europe. Fluvial means that it only contains animal species that live in or around rivers. Therefore in the aquarium there are fish, but also other types of aquatic animals such as crocodiles and otters.
